Access to Education, Accreditation, Training and Learning

Open College Network North East Region (OCNNER) was an integral part the Open College Network in the UK. In 2013, Blumilk were invited to discuss the future direction of the organisation with the OCNNER senior management team. The business strategy for 2013 onwards would result in OCNNER becoming a wholly independent trading organisation. A new name and identity would be needed.

Thank you to all the staff involved in the rebranding…a testing time for the organisation and when I pulled up this morning and saw the new signage in place, it really feels worth the efforts of both teams.

Chief Executive, ONE Awards

Blumilk managed the branding process including devising a new name and identity. This involved consultation with the board, governors, staff and stakeholders on the position of the business in its marketplace and its future aspirations as a freestanding organisation.

ONE Awards was the chosen new name; assertive, non-regional name and reflecting the aspiration to be number one across the UK.

ONE Awards offers Access to Higher Education Diplomas for people who have slipped through ‘traditional’ routes into further and higher education. They design courses of learning and provide course accreditation services to learning providers.

Blumilk has rolled out the new ONE Awards brand. This included staff engagement and branding the head office. Increasing brand awareness was a key roll out requirement. Blumilk provides Public and Media Relations services in support of this.
