Gilchester Organics is special. The company’s philosophy ensures there’s a balance between farming and wildlife conservation. Organic methods allow food to be produced in harmony with the natural surroundings of a roman fort in Northumberland, England.
Blumilk has been worked with Gilchesters since 2009. Our association has been with the creation of packaging designs for the range of flours plus related consumer advertising. And, of course our Digital Team designed and built the company website.
Gilchesters grows and mills heritage grains and rears white Galloway rare-breed cattle to combine a balance between farming and wildlife conservation.
THE BEST BREADS ARE THOSE I HAVE MADE WITH GILCHESTERS’ EXCEPTIONAL AND RARE MILLED FLOUR.
Rose Prince, Author and Food Journalist, The Daily Telegraph, England
Painstaking research into organic crop husbandry makes Gilchesters Organics, special. They mill only what they grow themselves in pure unadulterated soil, free from pesticides, herbicides, fungicides and agrochemicals.
Getting the timing right for harvesting then milling slowly and gently unlocks the goodness to deliver the flavour and natural goodness intact.
